The Las Vegas Waitress’ Diary

The Tuscan tunic unwrit sorrows
Coated gleam; de- aged furrows

Weighed forehead, despaired, looted
Gambled ; a compelled quietude
Customers unmasked; callous incertitude

Irreverent chevaliers
So pretentious.

Mexican whiskered in sapping energy
Some robust gymnast of yesterday

Couples who cannot fight with time
Even as they like weightless lime.

Greened, splendoured glamoured deception
Tips oscillate sumptuous to contemptuous

The night is the day
The Strip is on its way.
